Earlier\u00a0this year, I was invited to submit a short\u00a0story to an anthology.\u00a0 On the basis of my mantra ‘How hard can it be?’,\u00a0I immediately said yes – it was a no brainer!<\/p>\n

What I hadn’t realised was that the story was to be non-fiction! That small detail changed everything for me. I’m used to writing stories with fictional characters, scenarios and places but all of a sudden, I had\u00a0to write the truth about me.\u00a0 That\u00a0was hard as it meant being vulnerable and exposed.\u00a0 The\u00a0page remained blank for several days until the words\u00a0finally\u00a0came to me…<\/span><\/p>\n

I submitted my untitled\u00a0story in June\u00a02015 and I’m delighted to let you know that it was accepted and\u00a0will appear in\u00a0Hot Pink Publishing\u2019s\u00a0anthology\u00a0\u201c<\/b><\/i>Chocolate and\u00a0Diamonds<\/span>\u00a0for the Woman\u2019s Soul<\/b><\/i>” which\u00a0is due\u00a0for Kindle\u00a0release\u00a0on 13\u00a0September 2015,\u00a0bringing together over 100\u00a0women\u2019s voices to create an\u00a0inspirational\u00a0masterpiece for all\u00a0ages, with submissions from\u00a0\u00a0the\u00a0USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Germany and the UK<\/span><\/p>\n
