{"id":1098,"date":"2018-06-28T07:46:58","date_gmt":"2018-06-28T06:46:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ladieswholunchuk.com\/?p=1098"},"modified":"2018-06-28T07:46:58","modified_gmt":"2018-06-28T06:46:58","slug":"lifteffects-star-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ladieswholunchuk.com\/?p=1098","title":{"rendered":"LiftEffects Star Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am both humbled and honoured to have received a LiftEffects\u00a0Star Award at the recent Extraordinary Woman Conference.<\/p>\n<div>LiftEffects was founded by Sandra Nelson and is now in it&#8217;s fifth year.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The conference and awards recognises that: &#8216;every person that has sacrificed their time, money and energy to help someone to stand while still standing is a true star and such people are usually given a recognition star award for making a real difference in the lives of many and our world&#8217;.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1099\" src=\"https:\/\/ladieswholunchuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_4848-300x182.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4848\" width=\"300\" height=\"182\" \/><\/div>\n<div>It was a pleasant surprise to be recognised for the female cancer awareness and fundraising work I&#8217;ve been doing for Eve Appeal and CRUK &#8211; especially as it&#8217;s a cause I&#8217;m incredibly passionate about and so never give it a second thought!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The LiftEffects Extraordinary Woman Conference and Star Awards was a truly\u00a0inspiring event which highlighted the extraordinary achievements of ordinary women who share the desire to help others and make a difference.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I&#8217;d also like to congratulate Jackee Holder, Vee Roberts, Paula Moio, Lily Mensah and Hira who also received awards.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>And a heartfelt thank you to Jenny Garrett for nominating me, and congratulations for receiving her second Star Award.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Jenny&#8217;s talk about legacy and leaving the pile higher for others has energised me and motivated me to keep focussed.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>#LiftEffects #gratitude #womenempoweringwomen #awardwinner #inspiration<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am both humbled and honoured to have received a LiftEffects\u00a0Star Award at the recent Extraordinary Woman Conference.
